High quality drive belt from Polini. The V-belts are reinforced with aramid fibers to make them extremely tear-resistant and much more durable than standard V-belts. Note: Drive belts should always fit properly. Belts that are too narrow and therefore sit too low reduce top speed, belts that are too wide and sit too high lead to power gaps when starting and belts that are too long have too little tension, which has a negative effect on power transmission.
We recommend to replace the V-belt regularly to ensure optimal transmission of power. Maintenance intervals vary depending on the model, general guideline is 6,000 to 8,000 km for 50cc scooters and 15,000 km (and more) for maxi scooters.
